The Camden-Rockport Animal Rescue League is holding a Woofer Wash & Car Cleaning on Saturday, Sept. 11, rain or shine, 9 a.m. to noon.

The public is invited to bring both their four legged friends (leashed, of course) and four wheel drives to the Key Bank ‘barking’ lot for a good washing in return for a donation to the shelter. Proceeds will benefit the ongoing care of the animals at CRARL waiting for placement in loving homes.

“This event is an easy and fun way for the public to help out the pets at our shelter,” says Sarah Shepherd, Executive Director at CRARL. “We are looking forward to seeing everyone, especially our alumni and their families.”

In operation since 1974, Camden-Rockport Animal Rescue League is a no-kill animal shelter that provides a safe, caring environment for homeless or abandoned companion animals until they can be placed with loving families and promotes humane values in the community.
