The following cases were completed in Knox County Superior Court from Aug. 23 to Aug. 27.

Alan E. Bernardo, 23, of Rockport, probation violation on a prior assault conviction, nine months in jail.

Travis Crowley, 28, of Dresden, trafficking in prison contraband, 18 months in jail, all suspended, two years probation. A joint investigation found that Crowley was going to drop off 30 Suboxone tablets to a site in Friendship where a Maine State Prison inmate was working as a trustee. The inmate was then going to smuggle the pills into the prison to re-sell. Investigators and agents found the pills hidden before the inmate obtained them. Both subjects were arrested after the seizure of the pills.

Steven Dunn, 57, probation violation, five days in jail, probation partially revoked.

David Libby, 40, of Rockland, aggravated trafficking in drugs on May 17 in Rockland, one year in jail, $400 fine, $40 restitution; aggravated trafficking in drugs, dismissed; probation violation on prior drug charges, 38 months in jail.

Harlan E. Mackenzie, 40, of Union, aggravated assault on Feb. 15 in Union, eight months in jail; terrorizing, 60 days in jail; theft, dismissed; obstructing report of a crime, dismissed; elevated aggravated assault, dismissed. At the time of his arrest, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office reported that Mackenzie seriously injured a friend. The friend was taken to Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport and later to Maine Medical Center in Portland. A wallet and some other items were reported as taken during the incident. Mackenzie was captured in Warren after a foot chase by police after the sheriff’s office received tips from the public after reading about the assault on VillageSoup.

Cecil P. Philip Jr., 44, of Matinicus, criminal trespass, 60 days in jail; burglary, dismissed; theft, dismissed.

Anthony R. Scott, 28, of Warren, trafficking in prison contraband, five months in jail; possession of oxycodone, dismissed.

Bradley S. Theriault, 31, of Corinna, trafficking in prison contraband, nine months in jail; trafficking in drugs, dismissed.
