On Friday, Sept. 3, Mulford Collectors Gallery at 313 Main St. will present a show of gallery artists that is all about Maine. The public is invited to an First Friday art walk opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m.

Although not all the artists in the “Maine Seen” show are from this state, they all appreciate the environment here and have celebrated it in all media of art. The gallery will be filled with an eclectic mix, from Phil Schirmer’s egg temperas to inspired scenes from Harold Garde. Visitors can expect mixed media works, watercolors, sculptures, archival photography and magical illustrations.

The show will hang through Columbus Day. For more information, call 594-4775 or visit mulfordcollectorsgallery.com.
