Maira Seeley will present her oral history project documenting the history of tidal lobster pounds in Friendship on Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Friendship Town Hall.

Seeley is an intern at The Lobster Conservancy in Friendship. The project involved interviewing members of the Friendship community with knowledge of pounds and pounding over the past century, as well as documentary research.

The project is supported by the Maine Community Foundation. The event is hosted by the Friendship Museum.
