Port Clyde Art Gallery invites everyone to stop Friday, Aug. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. to celebrate the nearby Marshall Point Lighthouse. Food, wine and a good time await visitors, as always.

Gallery members have been working on special projects honoring the lighthouse or its environs. In appreciation for its beautiful community, the gallery will donate a portion of the proceeds of any Marshall Point work to a local charity. This show will run through Sept. 12.

The Port Clyde Art Gallery 2010 members include Erik Amundsen, stoneware pottery; Larry N. Bailey, watercolors and acrylics; Amy Cornell, oils; Gillie Coyle, oil pastel, drawings and ink wash; Kelli LK Haines, photography; Lydia Kaeyer, watercolors; Gail Kingsbury, watercolors; Gena Neilson, oils and sculpture; Lowell “Si” Sibole, furniture; Gillian Sloat, oils; and Marianne Swittlinger, acrylics and mixed media.

The gallery is open Wednesdays through Mondays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is located across from the General Store, upstairs in the barn at the Seaside Inn.
