North Haven Arts & Enrichment will present its summer theater production this weekend on the stage of Waterman’s Community Center, Main Street by the ferry landing. “A Year with Frog & Toad,” directed by Courtney Naliboff, will be performed Friday and Saturday, Aug. 13 and 14 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 15 at 1 p.m.

This adorable and smart musical adaptation of Arnold Lobel’s beloved “Frog and Toad” books showcases the talent of almost a dozen young performers. The production also features a live orchestra of the Fox Islands’ fine musicians including Bill Trevaskis, Dave Macy, Andrew Frederick, Jacob Greenlaw, Christie Hallowell and Michelle Wiley. Costumes by Betsy Walker, choreography is by Tara Elliot, scenery is by Joel Rowland and set painting by David Wilson make this show a visual delight.

The production stars Aidan Howard as Frog and Adrianna Ames as Toad, with Megan Goodell, Natalie Carrier, Shyanne Waterman, Maddie Hallowell, Elizabeth Howard, Samantha Sparhawk, Macy Goodell, Louise Ambler, Nathaniel Huntington, Tristan Carrier and Connor Macy.
