For the month of August, Tidemark Gallery, 902 Main St./Route 220, will host a sampling of works by the artists who will participate in Waldoboro’s upcoming Paint the Town. The idea is to help both artists and buyers by providing an early opportunity to study the artists’ styles and techniques.

Most of the following “Paint the Town” artists will show examples of their work at Tidemark – Audrey Bechler, Geoff Bladon, Valerie Borgal, Nathan Borst, Ian Bruce, Stephen Busch, Ralph Bush, John Butke, Pam Cabanas, Diane Carbone, Emilia Carbone, Alison Cattan, Susan Champeny, Christine Chan, Gregory Chilenski, Cecile Clifford, Daniel Corey, Kevin Daley, Susan Dixon, Jeanette Esposito, Fran Gay, Roberta Goschke, Carol Groezinger, Holly-Marie Haining, Anne Heywood, Meridith Hicks, Megan Jaegerman, Stehpen Jane, Kris Johnson, Jean Kigel, Jan Kilburn, Mayumi Lincicome, Sally Loughridge, Lavendier Myers, Diane Noble, Louise Price, Laurie Proctor, Dolly Rollins, Julian Sacks, Bill Tomsa, Cali Veilleux, Carol Wiley and Brian Woods.

The Paint the Town Preview is curated by John Blamey and Carol Wiley, also co-organizers of the popular town-wide outdoor painting and fresh art auction to be held on Saturday, Aug. 21, and will run through Sept. 4.
