For the third consecutive year, Maine Lobster Festival attendees will dip their lobsters, clams and seafood in national award-winning butter from Cabot Creamery. Cabot, the official butter supplier of this year’s festival, will provide one ton of Cabot’s Natural Creamery Butter to accompany the nearly 12 tons of fresh Maine lobster expected to be served throughout the five-day festival.

Cabot butter brings out the true, natural flavor of Maine lobsters harvested from the cold Atlantic waters. Cabot’s farm fresh butter comes from the farms across New England and upstate New York that own Cabot Creamery Cooperative, including 85 farm families across Maine.

Again this year, Cabot will sponsor the Maine Lobster Festival’s Main Eating Tent that seats hundreds of lobster lovers. The Maine Lobster Festival will be held Aug. 4 to 8 at Rockland’s Harbor Park.

Cabot Creamery Cooperative has been in continuous operation in Vermont since 1919, and makes a full line of cheeses, yogurt, sour cream, cottage cheese and butter. Best known as makers of “the world’s best cheddar,” Cabot is owned by 1,200 dairy farm families. For more information visit cabotcheese.coop.
