Local teen bands will gathering in the downtown Camden Amphitheatre to Rock For Life, a multi-band benefit concert to support LifeFlight of Maine. The event is set for Saturday, Aug. 7 from 4 to 9 p.m. The concert is free, with donations appreciated and all proceeds to go directly to LifeFlight of Maine.

Jack Hauprich of Camden, a junior at Camden Hills Regional High School, is organizing the event. He said there will be as many as five bands, performing rock ‘n’ roll to soul and reggae. The event is chem-free.

“It is our goal to have a fun, clean, family-oriented (and young adult) concert,” said Hauprich.
