Leann Sebrey has been named director of nursing for the Homecare and Help at Home division of Kno-Wal-Lin Home Care and Hospice, a member of the Pen Bay Healthcare family of services.

“Leann is the consummate professional. Her attention and focus is always directed toward the organization’s mission,” said Mike Rich, director of Home Care and Rehab Services at Kno-Wal-Lin, in a news release.

Sebrey joined KWL in 1996, beginning as a staff nurse. She was named clinical nurse manager in 2008 and tasked with working with the nursing staff on case management and care coordination, as well as serving as case manager for acute pediatric cases across the KWL coverage area.

Sebrey also coordinated Pen Bay’s swine flu vaccination outreach efforts for adults and children during the fall and winter of 2009-10. For her tireless efforts on that important project, Sebrey was the organization’s Employee of the Month in January 2010.

After graduating from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in 1983, Sebrey worked in hospital pediatric units, in emergency nursing, at SkyFlight Care in Pennsylvania and in the adult and pediatric trauma departments at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Kno-Wal-Lin Home Care and Hospice was founded in 1966 and has offices in Rockland, Belfast and Newcastle.
