Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance invites writers working at all levels to the 2010 Fall Writing Retreat, to be held Oct. 1 through 3 at Linekin Bay Resort.

An idyllic, family-style resort situated on 20 waterfront acres in Boothbay Harbor, Linekin Bay offers a rustic haven for writers close to the town’s amenities and attractions. Participants can select from a variety of options: enjoy uninterrupted writing time; receive top-notch instruction from accomplished faculty; and/or take in a variety of craft-oriented seminars.

Workshop faculty for the 2010 Fall Writing Retreat include essayist and humor writer Elizabeth Peavey; crime novelist Patrick Quinlan; bestselling fiction writer Monica Wood; and the poet Jeffrey Thomson.
