St. George artists Trish Barnes, Carolyn Whitaker and Steve Barnes will exhibit their work at the Ocean View Grange, Route 131 between Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde. A public reception will open the one-weekend multi-medium “Clay • Paint • Stone” show Friday, July 30 from 4 to 8 p.m.

Showcased will be new porcelain forms in a dazzling red glaze by potters Trish Barnes and Steve Barnes; beautifully wrought pastel landscapes, graphite drawings, watercolors and still life oils by realist painter Carolyn Whitaker; and handcarved slate, a recently developed passion of Steve Barnes.

The Barneses have lived in Martinsville for 20 years and are well known for their studio, Noble Clay. Whitaker became a full-time resident of Port Clyde five years ago when she relocated from San Francisco.

Their show will continue Saturday, July 31 and Sunday, Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information, call 372-6468 or 701-7054.
