An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Rockland police responded to the following calls from July 9 to July 12.

July 9

Officer William Smith responded to a threatening complaint on Masonic Street.

Sgt. Don Finnegan responded to an animal problem on Barter Road.

Officer Smith responded to an overdose at the Thorndike Apartments on Main Street.

Sgt. Finnegan responded to an animal welfare complaint in the parking lot of the Breakwater Marketplace on Camden Street.

Officer Andrew Redden responded to a complaint of a missing person at Wal-Mart on Camden Street.

Officer Redden responded to a theft complaint at Rockland Savings & Loan on Main Street. Jeff Dudley, 22, of Rockland allegedly stole a wallet from the bank. He was issued a summons for theft and the property was recovered.

Sgt. Anthony Camporiale responded to a domestic complaint on Mountain Road.

Officer Redden responded to a disorderly complaint near the Rockland Fish Pier.

Officer Redden responded to an animal noise complaint on Otis Street.

Sgt. Matthew Lindahl responded to an animal welfare complaint in the Industrial Park.

Sgt. Camporiale responded to a juvenile complaint on Front Street.

Zachary Titus, 25, of Thomaston was issued tickets for speeding and operator in possession of an open alcohol container on a public way.

July 10

Sgt. Lindahl responded to a disorderly complaint on Main Street by Key Bank.

Officer John Bagley responded to a disorderly complaint on Main Street by the Black Bull. Anthony Hooper, 31, of Rockland was arrested for disorderly conduct — fighting.

Sgt. Lindahl responded to a disorderly complaint on North Main Street.

Officer Scott Solorzano responded to a disorderly complaint on Claremont Street.

Sgt. Smith responded to an animal problem on Main Street.

Officer Smith responded to a criminal mischief complaint at Harbor Square on Main Street.

Officer Smith responded to an animal welfare complaint at Wal-Mart.

Officer Redden responded to a nuisance complaint on Talbot Avenue.

Sgt. Smith responded to a car/pedestrian incident at Park and Main streets. At 2 p.m., a 2010 pickup truck driven by Angela Long, 36, of St. George was stopped at the light and when the light turned green she turned left to go west on Park Street. At the same time, two pedestrians were crossing Park Street with a walk sign. Long’s vehicle ran over the right foot of 17-year-old Caitlin McLean of Norristown, Penn. McLean fell and knocked over pedestrian Denise Felix, 16, of Germany.

Officer Smith responded to a drug complaint at Rite Aid on Park Street. Travis Robbins, 29, of Rockland was arrested for unlawful possession of drugs.

Sgt. Smith responded to a nuisance complaint on Main Street.

Officer Redden responded to a drug complaint on Park Street.

Officer Joseph Bates responded to a harassment complaint.

Sgt. Camporiale responded to a trespassing complaint at the alley by the Time Out Pub.

Officer Bates responded to an animal problem in the Wal-Mart parking lot.

Officer Bates responded to a threatening complaint at Park and Main streets.

Sgt. Lindahl responded to an animal welfare complaint in the Custom House parking lot.

Deputy Police Chief Wally Tower responded to a disorderly complaint in the alley by the Time Out Pub.

Sgt. Lindahl responded to a disorderly complaint at Park and Main streets. Alan Alley, 30, of Orange Park, Fla., was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Deputy Chief Tower responded to a complaint of shots fired on Ocean Street.

Sgt. Camporiale responded to an animal noise complaint on Otis Street.

Sgt. Camporiale responded to a disorderly complaint at the Pearl Restaurant.

July 11

Officer Bates responded to a juvenile problem on North Main Street.

July 12

Officer Solorzano responded to a theft complaint on Suffolk Street.

Officer Bates responded to a domestic complaint on Lovejoy Street. Ricky Miller, 28, of Rockland was arrested for domestic violence assault.
