The first annual dessert buffet to benefit the Adam Ober Memorial Fund will be held Friday, July 23 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Walker Park in Rockport.

All are invited to share and celebrate the life of Adam Ober. Desserts will be available beginning at 6:30 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. a drawing will be held for “Over the edge,” a print by Ronald Frontin, signed, numbered, remarqued, matted and framed.

Tickets have been on sale since June 11, and will continue to be available through 7:30 p.m. on July 23. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Mitchell Motors on Vinal Street in Rockport, Tolman Pond Market on Route 90 in Rockport, by contacting any family member, or by calling 542-6500. Tickets are one for $5 or three for $12. The winner does not need to be present at the drawing to win.

This year, funds will be donated to the Zenith program at Camden Hills Regional High School, where Adam was a student, as well as to sustain the foundation for future years.

This brief gathering will be an opportunity to eat, relax, mingle and remember; join the family for the entire time or just stop by for a quick hello. Monetary donations at the event are appreciated. Anyone wishing to donate a dessert should contact Tina at 542-6500. The rain date is Saturday, July 24.

“Please take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to celebrate Adam’s life and pick up your raffle tickets today and/or join us on July 23!”

Any donations may be mailed to The Adam Ober Memorial Fund, 53 Molyneaux Road, Camden, ME 04843.
