The Birdhouse Bonanza benefit auction, a collaboration of Rockland Kiwanis and Lincoln Street Center, is heading towards conclusion. For months, local artists have been creating a donating unique birdhouses for auction. Proceeds will go toward helping children via the programs of Lincoln Street Center for Arts and Education and Rockland Kiwanis.

Sunday through Tuesday, July 18 through 20, the birdhouses, including Eric Hopkins’ wood and glass relief, will be on view at the 313 Main St. lobby of Mulford Gallery for silent auction. This display will include items that will not be shown online at the event’s Web site, birdhousebonanza.org.

On Saturday, July 24, the months-long community project will wrap up with a reception for the artists and live auction in the Jean B.
