The first visioning session for the town of Waldoboro will be held Tuesday, May 18 at the VFW Hall on Mill Street. The event will begin with an open house at 6:30 p.m. The meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. will focus on peninsula issues.

A series of gatherings will be held to bring into focus the vision that Waldoboro residents have for their town. Three community gatherings will be held, followed by a town-wide meeting. Anyone can go to any of the community meetings, although each one has a specific neighborhood focus.

The meetings all start with an open house at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting from 7 to 9 p.m.

The second meeting, which will focus on downtown and Route 1 issues, will be held Thursday, May 20 in the Sproul Block Community Room.

The meeting Monday, May 24 at the North Waldoboro Church of the Nazarene will look at North Waldoboro.

The town-wide gathering will be held Tuesday, June 15 in the Medomak Middle School gymnasium.
