An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

The Waldoboro Police Department reported the following activity from May 3 to May 9.

May 3

Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a complaint from Moose Crossing Garden Center of a subject who left without paying for their plants.

May 5

Officer Sean Kozer investigated an accident on Winslow’s Mills Road at 10:55 a.m. Juliet Dorland, 83, of Waldoboro was driving a 2004 Ford two-door sedan that sustained $7,500 in damage. Dorland was traveling south on Winslow’s Mills Road. She went onto the soft shoulder and back onto the roadway. Dorland made an abrupt right turn into an embankment. Dorland went airborne, struck the branches of a tree and rolled over. The Ford came to rest on its roof. Dorland stated that something distracted her, possibly an animal.

May 6

Kozer summoned Timothy Tolman, 30, of Owls Head for assault.

Kozer summoned Katie Byrd, 28, of Owls Head for assault.

Sgt. Jamie Wilson summoned Stephanie Dudley, 26, of Waldoboro for assault.

May 7

Officer Michel Dutil is investigating a report from Cohen and Cohen of criminal mischief to the business; someone threw a concrete brick through a window.

Dutil is investigating a complaint that someone is riding all-terrain vehicles on Turkey Lane and causing damage to the road.

Dutil summoned Anthony Chaisty, 46, of Waldoboro for obstructing the report of a crime or injury and assault.

Christy Lilly, 35, of Waldoboro was summoned for operating after suspension and attaching false plates.

Kozer received a second call of ATVs on Turkey Lane. He made contact with the juveniles and parents and warned them on criminal trespass.

Wilson arrested Richard Malady, 26, of Boothbay on a warrant and summoned him for possession of drug paraphernalia.

May 8

Dutil arrested Theron Thibodeau, 21, of Friendship for domestic assault and assault.

May 9

Officer Richard Alexander summoned Aaron McClintick, 37, of Waldoboro for an inspection violation.
