Power was out May 14 to an estimated 5,500 customers in Rockport, Camden, Lincolnville and Hope, said a spokesman for Central Maine Power.

Power went out at 1:10 p.m. and was restored at 1:47 p.m.

The cause was a failed lightning arrestor at the Meadow Road Substation in Rockport.

Crews were able to fix the problem and get all customers back on line, said Central Maine Power.
