Officers seized more than 100 marijuana plants on May 12 at approximately 3 p.m. when members of the Waldoboro Police Department, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency executed a search warrant at 980 Winslow Mills Road in Waldoboro.

The marijuana plants were found in and around the residence. Officers also seized other illegal drugs and drug-related paraphernalia.

Dwight Robbins, 48, was arrested for felony cultivation of marijuana and three counts of illegal possession of scheduled drugs. Kenneth Robbins, 20, the son of Dwight Robbins, was charged with unlawful cultivation of marijuana and receiving stolen property; both are misdemeanor offenses.

Waldoboro Police Chief Bill Labombarde said the investigation was successful as a direct result of the ongoing commitment of the Waldoboro Police Department, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency to keep illegal drugs out of communities. He also urged people with information regarding the manufacture, sale or distribution of illegal drugs in their community to contact their local police department, the sheriff’s office or the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency tip line at 800-452-6457.
