An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Rockland police responded to the following calls from May 3 to May 6.

May 3

Sgt. Kenneth Smith responded to a three-vehicle car crash on Camden Street. One driver was taken to the hospital for neck and back pain. The cause was cited as driver inattention.

Sgt. Smith responded to a criminal mischief complaint.

Sgt. Smith responded to a property damage car crash in the Rite Aid parking lot. There were no injuries.

Sgt. Smith responded to a theft complaint.

Deputy Police Chief Wally Tower responded to a disorderly complaint by the public library.

Sgt. Smith responded to a criminal mischief complaint on Lawrence Street.

Officer Joseph Bates responded to an animal problem at the intersection of Broadway and Thomaston Street.

May 4

Sgt. Smith responded to an animal problem.

Sgt. Smith responded to a juvenile problem on Main Street.

Sgt. Smith responded to a trespassing complaint at Rite Aid.

Sgt. Don Finnegan responded to a report of a deceased person on Mountain Road.

Sgt. Finnegan responded to a harassment complaint on North Main Street.

Sgt. Smith responded to a trespassing complaint at St. Bernard’s Church.

Officer Bates responded to a juvenile problem at the Ocean Street Playground.

Officer Andrew Crook responded to an animal problem on Tea Street.

May 5

Officer Crook responded to a nuisance complaint on Broadway.

Officer Crook responded to a disorderly complaint on Broadway. Lisa Ladd, 44, of Rockland was arrested for disorderly conduct and refusing to submit to arrest.

Officer James Jillson responded to a property damage car crash on Union Street. There were no injuries.

Officer Matthew Lindahl responded to a property damage crash on Park Street. There were no injuries.

Officer Joel Neal responded to a theft at the Irving convenience store at Camden and Front streets.

May 6

Officer Neal responded to an assault on Winter Street.
