A Rockland woman will be among those honored by the Central Maine Community College Athletic Department as a selection to the school’s “all-decade” team for women’s basketball during a banquet on Saturday, May 8 at 6 p.m. at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston.

Stacy Campbell of Rockland, who had a standout athletic career at Georges Valley High School, will be named as one of the top women’s basketball player at CMCC from 1995-2010.

Men’s baseball and basketball “all-decade” squads also will be honored. The time frame for all the teams, except women’s basketball, spans 10 years, or one decade. The women’s “all-decade” team spans players who played for the college’s hoop squads over a 15-year period.

Tickets to the banquet are open to the public and on sale for $30 per person and can be purchased by calling 755-5251.

All-decade teams to be honored include 1990-2000 baseball, 2000-2010 baseball, 1990-2000 men’s basketball, 2000-2010 men’s basketball and 1995-2010 women’s basketball.
