An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

The Camden Police Department reported the following activity from April 20 to April 25.

April 20

Officer Brook Hartshorn responded to Hosmer Pond Road with the Camden Fire Department for a fire call.

Officer John Tooley responded to Belfast Road for an animal problem complaint. The incident is under investigation.

Sgt. Jason Hall responded to Union Street for a suspicious vehicle complaint. The officer spoke with the party involved and nothing suspicious was found.

Sgt. Hall responded to Mt Battie Street for an animal problem. The incident is under investigation.

Sgt. Hall responded to Elm Street for a business alarm.

April 21

Lt. Randy Gagne responded to Hope Road for an animal problem.

Lt. Gagne responded to Elm Street for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries.

Lt. Gagne responded to Harbor Road for an animal problem. The loose dog was returned to its owner.

Lt. Gagne responded to Elm Street for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries.

Lt. Gagne responded to Megunticook Street for an animal problem.

April 22

Sgt. Hall responded to Washington Street for a juvenile problem. The incident is under investigation.

Office Curt Andrick responded to Mountain Street for an animal noise complaint.

Officer Paul Spear responded to Elm Street for an erratic vehicle complaint. The officer did not locate the vehicle.

Officer Andrick and Sgt. Hall responded to Ames Terrace for a well-being check. The individual was located and given assistance.

Officer Spear responded to Main Street for a utility problem. The responsible parties were notified of the issues.

Frank Johnson IV., 26, of Cushing was issued a summons for an inspection violation.

April 23

Officer Andrick responded to Union Street for a bad check complaint.

Officer Andrick responded to Mountain Street to assist a citizen with gaining entry into their residence.

Office Andrick responded to Union Street to assist the Knox County Sheriff’s Office with locating an individual.

Officer Spear and Officer Andrick responded to Matthew John Avenue with the Camden First Aid Association for a medical call.

Officer Spear responded to Chestnut Street for a report of fireworks. The officer was not able to locate any fireworks.

April 24

Officer Spear responded to Main Street for a trespassing complaint. The incident is under investigation.

Officer Spear responded to Rawson Avenue for a nuisance complaint. The individuals were moved along.

Sgt. Hall responded to Washington Street for an animal welfare complaint.

Sgt. Hall received a fraud complaint on Highland Avenue.

Officer Andrick responded to Mountain Street for an animal noise complaint. The owners were advised of the issue.

Officer Andrick responded to Sea Street for a harassment complaint. One individual was warned for phone harassment.

Robert Johnson, 32, of Belfast was issued a summons for attaching false plates and for an insurance violation.

April 25

Officer Spear responded to Chestnut Street for a report of underage drinking. A juvenile, 17, of Rockland was issued a summons for illegal possession of liquor by a minor.

Officer Arthur Smith responded to Belfast Road to investigate a 911 hang-up.

Officer Andrick responded to Sand Street for an animal welfare complaint. No violations were found.
