An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Rockland police responded to the following calls from April 5 to April 8.

April 5

Officer William Smith responded to a juvenile problem on Cedar Street.

Officer Scott Solorzano responded to a theft complaint on Park Street.

Officer Solorzano responded to a harassment complaint on Main Street.

Sgt. Anthony Camporiale responded to a property damage car crash on Park Street.

Officer John Bagley responded to an intoxicated person at the dock by the sewage treatment plant.

James Lemos, 33, of Norwood, Mass., was arrested after he turned himself in for two warrants – probation revocation and failure to pay fines or fees.

April 6

Sgt. Kenneth Smith responded to a trespassing complaint on Thomaston Street near the railroad tracks.

Sgt. Don Finnegan responded to a property damage car crash on Park Street by the Smoke Shop.

Sgt. Anthony Camporiale responded to a juvenile problem on Lake Avenue.

Officer Joel Neal responded to a threatening complaint on White Street.

Officer Neal responded to a disorderly complaint on Limerock Street.

Alan Thomas, 47, of Rockland was arrested for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest and violating a condition of release.

Amber Gower, 21, of St. George was issued a summons for speed and failure to produce proof of insurance.

April 7

Officer Neal responded to an animal problem by the U.S. Coast Guard station on Tillson Avenue.

Officer Jillson responded to a juvenile problem on West Meadow Road.

Sgt. Finnegan responded to a harassment complaint on Grove Street.

Officer Jillson responded to a harassment complaint at Rockland District Middle School.

Sgt. Finnegan responded to a juvenile problem at Rockland District High School.

Officer Jillson responded to a disorderly complaint on Rankin Street.

Officer Jillson responded to a harassment complaint on Gay Street Place.

Officer Jillson responded to a harassment complaint on McLoud Street.

Officer Bagley responded to a hit-and-run car crash at Maverick Square.

Officer Bagley responded to a harassment complaint at the Knox Street Apartments.

April 8

Donald A. Stultz, 46, of Bath was issued a ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign at Gordon and Moran drives.
