Leah Titcomb, a representative from the Chewonki Foundation, will present a talk titled “Going Green: Small Changes for a Big Impact” on Tuesday, April 20 at noon at Merryspring Nature Center.

Titcomb will focus on a few big issues, then ask attendees to think about what they can do to start living a little greener. A set of Chewonki’s three sustainability posters will be provided for each participating teacher. The program is an expansion of Chewonki’s previous “Too Much Trash” lesson. Titcomb has been working for Chewonki for several years in a variety of roles. Most recently she has been working as part of the traveling education program.

Merryspring members and all children attend talks free, and there is a charge of $5 for non-members. Due to space limitations, pre-registration is required by Monday, April 19. To register, call 236-2239 or e-mail info@merryspring.org.
