An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Maine State Police responded to the following cases in the Midcoast from March 30 to April 3.

March 30

Trooper Scott Quintero responded to a loud noise complaint on Clemens Point Road in Warren. When the trooper approached the house, he could see marijuana plants inside. He arrested Jason Akers, 30, for cultivation of marijuana. Forty plants were seized.

April 1

Trooper Elisha Fowlie conducted an aggressive driving patrol on Route 1 in Warren.

Trooper Fowlie stopped Kenneth Low, 35, for a seat-belt violation. He also issued Low a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Trooper Fowlie stopped Randy Green, 47, for an inspection violation. Green was also charged with operating after suspension.

Trooper Fowlie stopped James Randall, 48, for a registration violation. He also issued Randall a summons for displaying a fictitious inspection sticker.

Trooper Fowlie stopped Anthony Barbeau, 22, for an inspection violation. He also issued Barbeau a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia. A passenger, Wade Phillips, 40, was issued a summons for possession of marijuana.

Troopers Quintero, Fowlie and Adam McNaughton responded to a complaint of an out-of-control woman at the Damariscotta Bank in Warren. The 31-year-old woman was upset because the bank would not cash a check. She was warned on criminal trespass.

Trooper Quintero responded to a harassment complaint at Medomak Valley High School. An 18-year-old woman reported she was having an angry text message conversation with someone from Bangor.

April 2

Trooper Quintero stopped William Waldron, 45, of Spruce Head on Route 1 in Thomaston. Waldron was arrestedĀ for operating after suspension

April 3

Trooper James Leonard responded to a domestic assault complaint at Loons Cry Campground in Warren. Brittany Barton, 24, was arrested for assaulting her boyfriend and for criminal mischief.
