The Mid-Coast Audubon Society will offer a tour of bird-friendly yards on a Birdhouse and Garden Tour this summer.

If a local resident has a yard that provides food and shelter for birds and he or she would like to share it for a day with fellow nature lovers, contact the Mid-Coast Audubon Society.

The Mid-Coast Audubon Society would particularly like to give people ideas about ways they can enhance their own property’s value for wildlife.

The Mid-Coast Audubon is an all-volunteer group whose mission is to promote long-term responsible use of natural resources through an informed membership, education and community awareness. It offers free monthly birding trips and educational programs and maintains four public preserves. Every third Thursday of the month, the Mid-Coast Audubon Society sponsors an evening program at the Camden Public Library. For more information, visit midcoastaudubon.org.
