Holy Week services at People’s United Methodist Church in South Thomaston will include:

Maundy Thursday: A soup and bread supper will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall and a Service of Holy Communion will be held at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Good Friday: A 7 p.m. service will be held in the sanctuary based on the Last Seven Words of Jesus; the sanctuary will be open at 6:45 p.m. for individual meditation.

Easter Sunday: Parishioners will gather at 6:30 a.m. for worship on the riverbank across from the church, facing east where the sun rises, weather permitting. If truly inclement weather, the service will be in the sanctuary. It will be followed immediately by a continental breakfast in the sanctuary.

Easter worship will be at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary.

All services are open to the public; please invite friends and family. Children are also welcome at all services.
