The Camden Hills ice hockey team was well represented at the recent Class B West awards dinner in Portland as a handful of Windjammers were honored for their work on the ice and in the classroom.

Junior Will Orne was named Class B West defenseman of the year, as well as first-team all-region. Senior forward Jeff Jordan also earned first-team honors, while senior forward Zachary Dufour was named to the second team and goalie Jacob Filderman the third team.

Senior forward Josh Stanclift and junior forward Ben Dufour were named honorable mentions.

Senior defenseman Wayne Neimann was recognized for making the region’s senior all-star team, while junior defenseman Henry Haselton was named to the all-academic team.

“We are both pleased and proud that the Class B West hockey teams are well represented with Camden Hills players this season,” said Camden Hills coach Karl Enroth. “All the Camden Hills players selected made significant contributions to our successful season and worked extremely hard for their respective honors.”

Orne, a physical, puck-moving defenseman, had 15 points on seven goals and eight assists in 16 games. He also led the team in plus/minus at +33 and in power-play goals with six.

Jordan, a smooth skating center, led the Windjammers in goals with 24, which is also the most goals by a player in the short history of the program. He also had five game-winning goals this season.

Zachary Dufour, a hard-shooting, physical forward, led the Windjammers with 38 points on 19 goals and 19 assists. He also led the team in power-play points with 12 on four goals and eight assists. He now the all-time scoring leader at Camden Hills.

Filderman, an athletic and mobile goalie, finished the season with a 9-2 record in net, a save percentage of .909 and a goals-against average of 2.30.

Stanclift had 26 points on 11 goals and 15 assists this season and also led the team in short-handed goals with two.

Ben Dufour had 35 points on 14 goals and 21 assists in 16 games this season and led the team in assists.
