The Rockport Public Library will present its annual Health Series. This year’s theme deals with end-of-life issues. The library will collaborate with Kno-Wal-Lin Home Care and Hospice to present a series of programs with speakers from the following areas of expertise: financial, legal, funerals and hospice care.

All programs will take place in the intimate setting of the library’s Marine Room to foster a casual discussion on these important issues. Programs will be held every Thursday at 10 a.m. throughout April.

Coffee and tea will be provided. The first fact-filled, dynamic program on financial planning will be held Thursday, April 8 with Ken Gardiner of Edward Jones in Camden. Gardiner is originally from Memphis, Tenn. He worked on the Fed Ex management team at its world headquarters for 26 years before retiring in 2003.
