Farmers Fare will host the Golden EGG-stravaganza on Easter Saturday, April 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Farmers Fare will offer three separate Easter egg hunts for different age ranges: 10:30 a.m.: 2 to 4 year olds; 11:15 a.m.: 5 to 7 year olds; and 11:45 a.m.: 8 to 10 year olds.

The eggs used for the race will have been colored by residents of Quarry Hill and Windward Gardens. Each age category will be looking for a Gold-Leafed Egg and the child who finds the one for his or her category will receive a unique Farmers Fare treat. The Easter Bunny will be present to greet the children as they arrive. Children can have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. A table will be set up for children to decorate Farmers Fare Easter Cookies, and there will be a pay-it-forward bunny for donations toward the baking costs. Children can also enjoy a free ice cream.

Children should wear appropriate footwear for possible muddy conditions and bear in mind the Easter Egg Hunt will be dependent on the weather; the cookie decorating will happen rain or shine. If the weather is bad, check the events page of farmersfare.com for updates or call 236-3273. After the fun and games parents and children are welcome to enjoy lunch or a snack in the café.

In the spirit of Farmers Fare, this is a community event and everyone is welcome.
