Aqua Maine Inc. announced that Brian Moody has been promoted to plant operator of the Camden and Rockland Division.

This is a new position within the division, created to meet the operating requirements of the new membrane filtration plant that will be online this summer. Moody will work under Dana Ayers, chief plant operator.

“Brian joined Aqua in 2007 on the distribution crew, and has shown a natural affinity and interest in water treatment,” said Vice President of Operations Rick Knowlton, in a news release. “We are pleased that Brian has accepted this important new role in our operation.”

Moody recently passed his Class III water treatment license exam and will continue to work toward the highest level of Class IV operator. Moody was born in Rockport, and he and his wife, Nychole, now live in Hope.

The Camden and Rockland Division serves the towns of Camden, Rockport, Rockland, Thomaston, Owls Head, Union and Warren.
