Midcoast Music Together is offering a series of free family music and movement demo classes in Belfast, Rockland and Camden. The program is geared for infants through preschool age children and their parents/caregivers. The spring semester will begin the week of April 5.

Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.

The first free class is set for Tuesday, March 29 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. in the Rockland Room of the Knox Center for Long Term Care, 6 White St., Rockland. The spring classes at the Knox Center will meet Monday mornings.

The second free class is set for Wednesday, March 30 from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the Belfast Dance Studio, 109 High St. The spring classes at the dance studio will meet Tuesday mornings.

The third free class is set for Thursday, April 1 from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 33 Chestnut St., Camden. The spring classes at St. Thomas will meet Thursday mornings.

The final free class is set for Saturday, April 3 from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. at The Playroom, Route 90, Warren. The spring classes at The Playroom will meet Saturday mornings.
