An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An Individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

The Camden Police Department reported the following activity from March 8 to March 14.

March 8

Officer Brook Hartshorn conducted a radar detail on Knowlton Street.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Bay View Street for a residential alarm.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Mountain Street for an animal problem. The officer was not able to locate the animal.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Elm Street for an erratic vehicle complaint. The officer was not able to locate the vehicle.

Officer Hartshorn conducted a radar detail on Knowlton Street.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Belfast Road for an erratic vehicle complaint. The officer was not able to locate the vehicle.

Lt. Randy Gagne responded to Elm Street for a theft complaint. Travis Dodge, 23, of Rockport was arrested for theft.

Officer Allen Weaver responded to Belmont Avenue with the Camden Fire Department for a fire call.

March 9

Officer Hartshorn conducted a radar detail on Knowlton Street.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Barnestown Road for a business alarm.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Mountain Street for a trespassing complaint. The individual was moved along.

Lt. Gagne responded to Harden Avenue for a stray animal complaint. The officer was not able to locate the animal.

Lt. Gagne responded to Mechanic Street for a juvenile problem. The individuals left the area prior to the officer’s arrival.

Officer Weaver responded to Bay View Street to investigate a 911 hang-up.

March 10

Officer Hartshorn conducted a radar detail on Knowlton Street.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Washington Street for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Belfast Road for a residential alarm.

Sgt. Jason Hall responded to Mechanic Street to assist a citizen with a disabled vehicle.

Lt. Gagne responded to Union Street for a theft complaint. One individual was warned for trespassing.

Officer Curt Andrick responded to Belfast Road for a parking problem. No violations were found.

Lt. Gagne and Sgt. Hall responded to Belfast Road to assist the Camden First Aid Association with a medical call.

Paul Tripp, 33, of Frankfort was issued a summons for criminal speed.

Sean Paulhus, 24, of Warren was issued a summons for an insurance violation.

March 11

Officer Hartshorn conducted a radar detail on Knowlton Street.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Washington Street to assist a citizen with obtaining fingerprinting.

Sgt. Hall responded to Melvin Heights Road for a fraud complaint.

Officer Arthur Smith responded to Mountain Street for a fireworks complaint. One individual was warned for possession of fireworks.

March 12

Sgt. Hall responded to Mountain Street for an animal problem.

Officer Paul Spear responded to Washington Street for a fraud complaint.

Sgt. Hall responded to Belfast Road for an erratic vehicle complaint. The officer was not able to locate the vehicle.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Mt. Battie Street for a suspicious person complaint. The officer was not able to locate the individuals.

Sgt. Hall and Officer Hartshorn responded to Eaton Avenue for a suspicious complaint. The situation was resolved.

Dana Downs, 45, of Belmont was issued a summons for an insurance violation.

March 13

Officer Spear responded to Cobb Road for a business alarm.

Officer Spear conducted a radar detail on Route 52.

Officer Spear responded to Bay View Street for an animal problem. The officer was not able to locate the loose dogs.

Officer Spear responded to John Street to investigate a 911 hang-up.

Officer Spear and Sgt. Hall responded to Molyneaux Road for a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries.

Sgt. Hall responded to Willow Street for a residential alarm.

Sgt. Hall responded to a civil complaint on Elm Street. The complainant was advised of their options.

Officer Smith responded to Knowlton Street for a suspicious vehicle complaint. The vehicle left the area prior to the officer’s arrival.

Alyson Seymour, 16, of Appleton was issued a summons for an insurance violation.

Trinity Miller, 23, of Rockport was issued a summons for an insurance violation.

Edward Rochester, 50, of Glen Cove was issued a summons for an insurance violation.

March 14

Officer Spear responded to Bay View Street for a residential alarm.

Officer Andrick responded to Elm Street to assist a citizen with a disabled vehicle.

April Delong, 28, of Windsor was issued a summons for operating with an expired registration greater than 90 days.

Paul Hodgson, 47, of Camden was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle 30-150 days.

Deborah Degiovanni, 56, of Belfast was issued a summons for an inspection violation.
