Student musicians from Belfast Area, Medomak Valley and Wiscasset high school jazz bands will perform in a cabaret setting to benefit Meals on Wheels Friday, March 26 at Owls Head Transportation Museum, Route 73.

A great evening of cabaret style entertainment, featuring traditional and modern jazz again will be served up with plenty of room for dancing during this second annual benefit concert. The high school jazz bands will entertain with sounds ranging from those of the big band era, individual and ensemble vocals of standards, to jazz of the 1960s and beyond.

Admission for the event is by suggested donation of $8, $5 for students and $15 for families. Admission includes access to all the exhibits of the museum. All proceeds will benefit Midcoast Meals on Wheels programs, which continue to be significantly underfunded. Need for continuation of this important service has never been in greater demand as more of the Midcoast elderly population strives to maintain their independence at home.
