Marking this, the 250th anniversary of the founding of Lincoln County, history will be the theme for Tidemark’s June exhibition. The gallery invites artists to participate with work inspired by the natural history and cultural heritage of the region.

Tidemark is pleased to announce that “Perspectives,” a group show of paintings, drawings, photographs and other two-dimensional media on the history theme, will be juried by distinguished painter, illustrator and author Loretta Krupinski of South Thomaston. As an artist, Krupinski’s own work has won her many awards and national recognition. She also has juried shows at major venues for the American Society of Marine Artists, where she is a Fellow and member of the board of directors.

Artists may deliver two pieces of recent work, framed and ready to hang, to the Tidemark Gallery at 902 Main St./Route 220 on Saturday, May 15 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Each item must be new to the gallery, for sale and not larger than 120 inches, total perimeter. Works chosen for the exhibit will hang for the month of June, with an opening reception, date to be announced.
