Camden-Rockport Middle School student singers, actors and dancers, assisted by student stage crew and technicians, are preparing an extravagant musical revue. “A Star in Me” will be presented to the public for one performance only Friday evening, March 26 in the Strom Auditorium of Camden Hills Regional High School, Route 90.

The musical revue features 80 students from grades 6 through 8 performing songs from different musicals that span the celebrated history of the Broadway show. The song and dance numbers are threaded together with student narration.

“A Star in Me” will have a special debut performance for students Thursday, March 25. The one and only public performance will take place Friday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Strom. Tickets for this one-night extravaganza  are $6, free for children younger than 5.

Advance tickets are available at HAVII and the office of Camden-Rockport Middle School, both in Camden.
