In honor of 100 years of Boy Scouts of America, Pack 142 of Waldoboro chose to honor Shelley’s Flowers and Gifts this year with an appreciative Cub Scout Medal.

“Shelley’s Flowers has done much over the past few years to help create a festive and special atmosphere for our events,” said Misty Cole, committee chairman for Pack 142. “We truly appreciate all that they have done.”

Boy Scouts of America incorporated Feb. 8, 1910, and has made a positive difference in many lives. It has successfully provided an educational program for boys and young adults that helps develop qualities of good character, citizenship and personal fitness.

Waldoboro’s Cub Scout Pack 142 has joined many other packs and troops in the BSA family in celebrating the fun and accomplishments of scouting this February. Among others, Shelley’s Flowers and Gifts was chosen to be honored for not only its contribution to local scouting, but also for support in the individual lives of scouts.
