An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An Individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

The Camden Police Department reported the following activity from March 1 to March 7.

March 1

Officer Arthur Smith responded to Hosmer Pond Road for a traffic hazard complaint. The tree limbs were removed from the roadway.

Officer Smith responded to Norwood Avenue for a traffic hazard complaint. The roadway was cleared.

Officer Smith responded to Sherman’s Point Road for a traffic hazard complaint. Camden Highway was notified of the tree blocking the road.

Officer Brook Hartshorn responded to Knowlton Street for a single-vehicle accident with no injuries.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Belfast Road for a residential alarm.

Officer Hartshorn responded to High Street for a residential alarm.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Elm Street for an erratic vehicle complaint. The officer was not able to locate the vehicle.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Cobb Road for a residential alarm.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Pearl Street for an animal problem. The dog was returned to its owner.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Washington Street for a residential alarm.

Officer John Tooley responded to Belfast Road to assist a citizen with a disabled vehicle.

Officer Tooley responded to Elm Street for a business alarm.

Susan O’Keeffe, 44, of Montville was issued a summons for an inspection violation.

March 2

Officer Hartshorn conducted a radar detail on Knowlton Street.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Elm Street with the Camden Fire Department for a fire call.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Mountain Street for a suspicious vehicle complaint. Nothing out of the ordinary was found.

Amy Barnard, 24, of Northport was issued a summons for possession of a usable amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

March 3

Officer Smith and Officer Tooley responded to Cedar Street for a weapons offense. Michael Doucette, 32, of Camden was arrested for aggravated reckless conduct and discharge of a firearm near a residence.

Officer Hartshorn conducted a radar detail on Knowlton Street.

Officer Hartshorn responded to Washington Street for an animal bite complaint. The incident is under investigation.

Sgt. Jason Hall responded to Washington Street for a two-vehicle accident with no injuries.

Officer Tooley responded to Mt. Battie Street for a phone harassment complaint.

March 4

Officer Paul Spear conducted a radar detail on Knowlton Street.

Sgt. Hall responded to Elm Street for a fraud complaint.

Officer Allen Weaver responded to Mechanic Street for an erratic vehicle complaint. The officer made contact with the individual who was warned for operation.

March 5

Officer Spear conducted a radar detail on Knowlton Street.

Officer Spear responded to Bay View Street for a business alarm.

Officer Spear responded to Union Street for an escort.

Officer Spear responded to Washington Street to assist a citizen with fingerprinting.

Officer Spear responded to Knowlton Street for a juvenile problem. No violations were found.

Officer Spear responded to High Street for a traffic hazard complaint. The hazard was removed.

Sgt. Hall responded to Main Street to assist a citizen with a disabled vehicle.

Officer Weaver responded to Bay View Street for a suspicious complaint. Frank Nickerson, 54, of Lincolnville was arrested for operating under the influence.

Officer Curt Andrick responded to Union Street for a nuisance complaint. The individuals were moved along.

Adam Chaples, 28, of Morrill was issued a summons for an insurance violation.

Kevin Gooldrup, 18, of Knox was issued a summons for operating without a license.

March 6

Officer Spear responded to Mount Battie with the Camden First Aid Association for a medical call.

Officer Spear responded to Mountain Street for a suspicious complaint. The officer was not able to locate anything out of the ordinary.

Officer Spear responded to Washington Street for a residential alarm.

Richard Royer, 42, of Waldoboro was issued a summons for an inspection violation.

Kerr Low, 57, of Camden was issued a summons for operating an unregistered motor vehicle greater than 150 days and for an insurance violation.

Jeremy Turner, 23, of Gardiner was arrested on an outstanding warrant and was issued a summons for operating after suspension and for an insurance violation and an inspection violation.

March 7

Officer Spear responded to Elm Street with the Camden Fire Department for a fire alarm.

Officer Spear responded to Molyneaux Road for an animal problem. The dog was returned to its owner.

Officer Spear responded to Belfast Road to assist a citizen with a disabled vehicle.

Paul Sullivan, 54, of Brooklin was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle 30 to 150 days and for an insurance violation.
