Harmony Bible Church of South Thomaston will offer its third annual Family Fun Fest on Saturday, March 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. The free carnival-style event will have bounce houses, games, popcorn, prizes and live music.

Musician Jason Halladay and his family will present music geared for children and families. Harmony Bible Church started the Family Fun Fest as a way to encourage families with some free fun time at the end of the long winter seasons. Between snowy days and muddy spring, it’s easy to get cabin fever. Having a free indoor carnival seemed to make sense.

In the past, the Family Fun Fest was held in Rockland. This year it will be held at the St. George School in St. George. Everyone is invited to come.

Harmony Bible Church has a desire to encourage families in these economically difficult times. The Family Fun Fest is just one of the ways they plan to do it. Harmony Bible Church also regularly hosts a free community dinner. The next dinner will be Saturday, April 3 from 5 to 7 p.m.
