The Waldoboro Public Library is hosting a Heart Gallery display sponsored by A Family for ME. During the month of March, 25 photographs will be displayed in the library.

The Heart Gallery program consists of photographs of the 153 children who are in need of adoptive families in the state of Maine. Since 2003, 491 children have been photographed into the Heart Gallery program and of those children, 304 have been adopted. A Family for ME is a nonprofit organization contracted by the state of Maine to increase awareness about the need for more foster and adoptive families in Maine.

The goal of the Heart Gallery display is to increase awareness about the need for safe, permanent and loving families for the 153 children in the state who are in need of adoptive families.
