An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

The Waldoboro Police Department reported the following activity from Feb. 16 to Feb. 21.

Feb. 16

Officer Thomas Bartunek summoned Nathan Brewer, 21, of Nobleboro for speeding.

Feb. 18

Bartunek investigated an accident on Friendship Road at 5:30 a.m. Randolph Emerson, 64, of Waldoboro was driving a 2004 Ford four-door sedan that sustained $4,000 in damage. Emerson was traveling north on Friendship Road when a deer crossed in front of him. Emerson’s vehicle struck the deer. Emerson was not injured.

Feb. 20

Officer Sean Kozer is investigating a burglary report; approximately $20 worth of medication was taken.

Feb. 21

Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a $36 gas drive off from the Big Apple.
