An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Maine State Police responded to the following calls in the Midcoast from Feb. 14 to Feb. 21.

Feb. 14

Trooper Jeremiah Wesbrock responded to two separate motor vehicle theft cases in Friendship. One vehicle was reported stolen from Timber Point Road and the other was reported stolen from Wadsworth Point Road. Both vehicles were recovered after having been crashed. Damages to the vehicles were significant. The investigation continues.

Trooper Wesbrock arrested Gregory Zacadelli, 22, of Friendship on outstanding warrants.

Feb. 15

Trooper Wesbrock and Deputies Justin Twitchell and Don Murray and Warden Mark Merrifield responded to a report of a fight on Depot Road in Warren. There are several suspects and the investigation continues.

Feb. 19

Trooper Wesbrock and Deputy Murray responded to a family fight on Main Street in Warren. Christopher Dibeal, 29, of Warren was arrested for felony domestic violence assault and taken to the Knox County Jail.

Trooper Patrick Hood responded to a complaint of a violation of a protective order in Friendship. Craig Beal, 50, of Friendship was arrested for violation of the protective order and was taken to jail.

Trooper Hood issued a summons to Jared Daniels, 28, of Union for theft at Maritime Farms.

Feb. 20

Trooper Hood responded to a report of a family fight on Woody Lane in Cushing. The trooper determined it was a civil matter for probate court.

Trooper Hood responded to a late report of a violation of a protective order in Cushing. The investigation continues.

Feb. 21

Trooper Wesbrock responded to a report of an unattended death on Pleasant Point Road in Cushing. The death of the 69-year-old woman was determined to be from natural causes.
