Richard Edward Kelley Jr., 47, died Feb. 23, 2010, after a brief illness. He was a 1980 graduate of Rockland High School and a 12-year U.S. Army veteran. After leaving the Army, he spent many years in Worcester, Mass., where he was employed in sales. In recent years, he resided in St. Petersburg, Fla.

He is survived by his mother, Leona, and stepfather, John Dillard, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; his children, Patrick and Megan, both of Plantation, Fla.; his brothers, Rene and sister-in-law Cheryl Kelley of Lee, N.H., Edward Kelley and his partner Ken Wilson of Gray, and Walter and his wife, Jessie Kelley, of New Brockton, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at a later date with graveside services in Rockland.

Arrangements are with the Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, Fla.
