Sally A. Witham died peacefully Feb. 20, 2010, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

She was born Oct. 5, 1943, in Damariscotta, a daughter of the late Hazel Norton Creamer and Frank Creamer.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Bradley Witham in 1995.

She is survived by her five beautiful boys, David Witham of Waldoboro, Wayne and Kevin Witham of Warren, Corey Witham of Appleton, and Sean Witham of Washington; her loving daughters-in-law; 10 beautiful grandchildren; two sweet great-grandchildren; her sister, Yvonne Waltz; and many nieces and nephews.

Sally had a beautiful life. She enjoyed many things, but her favorites were cookbooks, lawn sales, and spending time with her family. She was always looking forward to the day when she and Brad could be together again; although that day came much too soon, her family is so grateful she is in peace now.

She had many friends; she just had that smile that everyone loved. Sally had that special way of¬†touching peoples’ lives. She was a great friend to all who knew her.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Maine Medical Center.

There will be a future announcement, requesting the presence of family and close friends, to a celebration of Sally’s life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Sally’s memory to the American Lung Cancer Society, Northeast Division, 1 Bowdoin Mill Island, Suite 300, Topsham, ME 04086.

Arrangements are with the Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Waldoboro.
