The Knox-Lincoln County Farm Bureau invites all horse enthusiasts to its second annual Equine Educational Program. This year’s program will be held Thursday, March 25 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Farmers Fare, at the corner of Cross Street and Route 90 in Rockport.

The speakers for the discussion panel will be Jannelle Tirrell, doctor of veterinary medicine; Andrew Beals, equine nutritionist; Jane Nelson, representing Farm Family Insurance; and Don Marean, commercial horse breeder and recipient of the Distinguished Service Award for the Maine Harness Horsemen’s Association. There will be a question and answer session following the speakers.

The event is free. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments and the company of other horse folks before riders hit the trails and another busy show season. For more information call June Phillips at 633-2473.
