Cub Scouts in Pack 215 recently completed the God and Me Program. The God and Me program is a four-week program designed to help introduce children to religious concepts and explore their relationship with God.

Scouts made a GAMEBOX (God And Me Exploring BOX), played games and studied Bible lessons. Adult mentors participated with their children. The program was sponsored by the Thomaston Federated Church and facilitated by the Rev. Jackie Brannen and Sunday school teacher Carol Moss.

Upon completion of the program, Scouts and their adult mentors were presented with certificates and pins at a Scout Sunday church service on Feb. 14. Scouts also participated in the services by reading prayers and Scriptures as well as greeting parishioners, lighting candles and collecting the offering.

Cub Scouts is open to all boys in grades one through five. Pack 215 serves boys in the Thomaston and Cushing communities and welcomes new members at any time. For more information call Aimee Sanfilippo at 354-9531.
