Members of the Rockland Fire Department were called to the Bank of America branch on Union Street in Rockland Feb. 17 around 4:30 p.m. after a heating unit there began to emit flames and smoke.

No one was injured, according to the fire department, and the damage appeared minimal. Two fire engines, an ambulance and the fire chief’s vehicle were dispatched to the scene.

Employees could be seen in the building as firefighters opened doors to ventilate the bank.
