Bank of America Branch Manager Jake Miller recently presented a $250 donation to Blueberry Cove Camp Director Jonathan Downing. The gift will be used as a scholarship to send a local child to Blueberry Cove Camp this summer.

Tanglewood 4-H and Learning Center has two summer camp locations, Tanglewood in Lincolnville and Blueberry Cove in Tenants Harbor. Both sites offer day camp, one- and two-week residential camps, and school programming. Each location is available for conferences and events when camp is not in session. Tanglewood’s vision is to create a place where people learn to live responsibly and in balance with the Earth. It encourages reflection and respect, while inspiring change within people and their communities.

“We are excited to see that local businesses see the importance of helping children to experience summer camp,” Downing said in a news release. “Many Maine children have not experienced the amazing natural resources and recreational activities that their state has to offer.”
