The Rockland Public Library will present a demonstration and talk on tai ji, meditation and qi gong with Priyadarshi on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Friends Community Room.

Tai ji is a movement-art that helps people find their inner gracefulness. It is a gentle and effective exercise that stimulates the flow of healing energy. Attendees will enjoy a relaxing and energizing evening with Priyadarshi, who will discuss these meditative disciplines along with some guided experiential learning. Priyadarshi has studied tai ji, meditation and qi gong for more than three decades. He practices psychotherapy and teaches contemplative arts in Camden at High Mountain Hall and at the Arts of Living Learning Center in Augusta.

The program is free. For more information call the library at 594-0310.
