Rockport Public Library’s Artist Trading Card Club will meet Saturday, Feb. 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the library, 1 Limerock St.

ATCs are small works of art the size of a playing card, made and traded among artists of all ages and skill levels. Paper arts techniques learned at club meetings are readily used in journaling, scrapbooking and gift card making.

In February, local artist Robinsunne will teach quilling or paper filigree. This is the art of rolling very thin strips of colored papers and combining the shaped rolls into flowers, geometric patterns and many other images.

Club membership is open to all, and basic art materials will be provided at no cost. Participants may bring their favorite scissors, glue and personal ATC collection for voluntary trading at the end of the meeting.

For more information, call the Rockport Public Library at 236-3642.
